Subnatura is this time proud to present our first true one-artist-EP, a release from no one less than slem. slem is bringing us 'Emphatic escapism EP'. A collection of his unique works of hypnotic electronic music.

slem - DenriEnter the caves at Denri. The constant dripping and erratic rumblings of falling rocks will attract the attention of your ears. Finding yourself deeper down the track an elysian melody takes you further and further. Tread lightly and make no sound or else the cave-in is a fact.

[Liquid Stranger remix] There are always possibilities of seeing things in a totally different way. In the river where slem finds angry animals and distorted madness, Liquid Stranger is finding wash ore of hip hop gangsters and classic composers of the seventeenth century. True friendship is binding them together; the gangsters are making the beats and Mozart’s composing the melodies… with a little help from the imps of hell. As a tiny and happy explosion, this track will be searching its way right thru your skin and bone and will always land in the place it was looking for: the humorous side of the heart.

slem - Repeating sequenceWith a random arpeggio, some clean-shaved electronic beats, a muffled bassline with an inferiority-complex and 'mumbler' on vocals, nothing could possibly go wrong you might think. But the sunshine story takes a train down the blue lane. Ending up where random vocal phrases accompanied by surreal pads, dense beats and oscillating basslines control the streets.
